beyondmycontrolName: Vicomte Sébastien de Valmont
Fandom: Dangerous Liaisons (1998), based on the novel Les Liaisons dangereuses (1782) by Pierre Choderlos de Laclos.
Age: 35
Nationality: French
Build: Slender, but with a fencer's grace and strength.
History: Born to a life of leisure, Valmont has taken advantage of his money and station. There is not much more to tell; there is a trail of ladies in his wake, should you wish to inquire into particulars.
In the novel/film, Valmont becomes entangled in the machinations of Madame de Merteuil, both of them spinning webs of sex, revenge and intrigue that both are eventually caught in.
Personality: Valmont has always gotten everything--and everyone--he wanted. Without profession, without responsibility, he spends his days wenching and plotting his next conquests. He has never loved, and indeed considers love to be an illusion held by weaker beings. His life is lived in pursuit of the next debauchery--this is the era of Sade, remember (but also, hmm, Austen, but he is French). He loves a challenge, and at this point that's going to be more alluring to him than the common attractions. Something he hasn't done, someone uncorruptible, that's what he's after.
He is not a very nice man.
This is not to say he's evil, but he's almost sociopathically focused on sex without any regard to emotion--his own or the other party's.
Sexual stuff: Some of this is going to get added to as I play him, because some of it I won't know until I get a better feel for him.
Basically, Valmont will do anything that moves if his interest is piqued. Probably more likely women than men, but especially given this community I'm not going to hold him to that. He's good at what he does, so it's quite possible to enjoy sex with him--just don't look for romance (unless he's seducing). I'm also positing that he will only top with men, and will bottom for women if, again, the premise is suitably novel or he's impressed. Talk to me!
He'd be good for seduction stuff, coercion, corruption of the innocent, and if I am up to the challenge (for me) domination or dub/non-con. He'd also be open to subbing for the right woman (he doesn't think they're equal, anyway) and I'd be open to cutting him down to size.
